Hi there, friends!

Thanks so much for checking out my website. Just a quick note about me:

I was born and raised in Virginia. Music was always a big part of my life as my amazing father, Stan, was band leader of a local music group. I showed interest in the arts, both musical and visual, at a young age, and my parents were very encouraging of those pursuits. In high school, as I turned my attention to the guitar, I visited Boston, MA to participate in one of Berklee College of Music’s summer programs. I, eventually, attended the school, studying film scoring and composition.

After college, I moved to Los Angeles and continued the ongoing journey of making music, and specifically music-for-picture, my career. From my earliest days working for FOX Kids and Fox Family Channel on the shows Real Scary Stories and Jason & the Heroes of Mt. Olympus to the more recent series Super Monsters and Mighty Little Bheem on Netflix, I have been so fortunate to  meet, and sometimes collaborate with, some truly talented people that encouraged me to keep at it including Cori Stern, Al Kasha, Josh Fisher, Marc Handler, J.A.C. Redford, Ian Nickus, and Jamie Simone... among many others.

In addition to my scoring and songwriting work for children's programming I write music for live-action film/tv, songs for many genres, chamber and serious works, and occasional ghost writing/subbing.

I’m, also, a huge Halloween... and pretty much all things bump-in-the-night... enthusiast, unapologetic horror movie junkie, animal lover, and backyard gardener.
